Question 1: What are Iowa Wines like?
Answer: There are many varietals available in Iowa. Most are French hybrids or Native American grapes. There are dry, sweet, fruity, soft, round whites and red available. New blends are being developed as we speak!
Question 2: Where do I taste these wines at?
Answer: There are multiple options; the winery itself will always have tastings (each winery page contains contact information). Secondly Muddy Creek Wine Company in Coralville features a different Iowa Winery each week and has tastings from 4:30 to 6pm Tuesday through Saturday. Lastly, order our Sample Pack or the At Home Iowa Wine Tasting including five different wines, tasting notes and literature on the winery.
Question 3: Is there an Iowa Winery near me?
Answer: As of right now there are 60 licensed wineries in Iowa. Utilize our google maps to see if there is one near you!
Question 4: Can I ship wine outside of the state of Iowa?
Answer: Right now we are only shipping within Iowa. We are working out the shipping relationships with different states.
Question 5: Are there Iowa Wines that have recieved honors and awards?
